On January 28, 2026, a conference was held at the Sala Pia, located at Via Porta Castello 44 in Rome, entitled “Ethics and Economics – The New Economic Discipline of the 21st Century”, held in conjunction with the presentation of the latest book by Dr. Tullio Chiminazzo, economist and Founder of the World Movement of Schools of Ethics and Economics.
The event saw the attendance and contributions of distinguished authorities and personalities, including figures from the academic sphere, such as His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State; Dr. Daria Perrotta, Accountant General of the State; Professor Luigino Bruni, Full Professor of Political Economy at LUMSA University; and Professor Filippo Giordano, Director of the Department of Law, Political Economy, and Modern Languages at LUMSA. The proceedings were preceded by institutional greetings from Professor Francesco Boni, Rector of LUMSA University. The evening was moderated by journalist Dr. Alberto Michelini.
During the event, a message sent by the Hon. Giorgia Meloni, President of the Council of Ministers, was also read aloud.
